Investigating the Factors of Contraception use among Female Sex Workers

BACKGROUND: Prostitution is a social problem because prostitution harms the safety, tranquility and prosperity physical, spiritual, of common life, it becomes real when connected with transmission venereal diseases, views several religions traditional traditions tribes in Indonesia. One consequences unhealthy sexual activity emergence sexually transmitted diseases. To do PMS, has developed various methods contraception that can be used by public at large. AIM: The study aims to determine factors contraceptive use commercial sex workers Yogyakarta, RESULTS: This research employed quantitative approach cross-sectional design. Respondents involved were 30 workers. results showed most respondents condom contraceptives as many 21 people (70.0%), respondent have an age 18–40 years 24 (80.0%), elementary education 16 (53.3%) had high income 25 (83.3%). IMPLICATION FOR PRACTICE: It’s hope coming year educational institutions complete references books on concepts, especially about community midwifery care support student completing research.
